"Cloud Waling: Getting the most out of free online tools "

Who says seniors can’t be at the cutting edge?

SeniorNet Wellington, a non-profit organisation that provides services to older adults for their information and communications needs, has been using Google tools to store files, collaborate online and develop their website.

In a cloud computing seminar organised by the Wellington ICT, Alan Royal of SeniorNet pointed out that there are a lot of tools in the public cloud like Google docs, Google sites, Picasa and even Microsoft applications like SkyDrive and MS Office Live that let you do word processing, spreadsheet, calendaring, and file back-ups. You can even make your website using free applications such as Blogspot or Wordpress.
